Sakellaropoulos (SSP P. Sakellaropoulos)<\/h5><p>The Society of Social Psychiatry P. Sakellaropoulos (SSP P. Sakellaropoulos) is a non profit organisation founded in 1986, with the aim of providing\u00a0high quality mental health services.\u00a0The Society works for the population&#8217;s sensitization regarding mental health issues and promotes the prevention, the timely intervention, the social inclusion and employment of people with psychosocial problems and the support of their rights. The aim is to ensure respect and equal rights as citizens for people with mental health problems.<\/p><p>The\u00a0SSP P. Sakellaropoulos, has made a significant contribution to Greece&#8217;s Psychiatric Reform, and its operation is based on the principles of Social Psychiatry, whose aim is to offer community care\u00a0mental health services to patients and their families which promote social inclusion, as an alternative to institutionalized hospital treatment.<\/p><p>The aim is to cover effectively the mental health services needs of the population. Each year, mental health services are offered to approximately 3,500 patients and the total number of staff is 220 people.<\/p><p>More specifically, the aims of the SSP P. Sakellaropoulos are:<\/p><ul><li>The provision of mental health services;<\/li><li>The promotion and establishment of Social Psychiatry;<\/li><li>The sensitization of the society regarding mental health issues;<\/li><li>The provision of vocational education and training for people with mental health problems;<\/li><li>\u03a4he provision of education and training for mental health professionals;<\/li><li>The development of services for the management of diversity and cultural differences, and the response to emergency situations.<\/li><\/ul><h5><span class=\"trx_addons_inverse\">Project partners:<\/span><\/h5><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-3803 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/svinoumetostigma.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/cecl_english_logo_eps_create_outlines-Converted1-1024x398.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"263\" height=\"143\" \/><\/p><h5>Themistocles and Dimitris Tsatsos Foundation \u2013 Centre for European Constitutional Law (CECL)<\/h5><p>The <strong>Themistocles and Dimitris Tsatsos Foundation \u2013 Centre for European Constitutional Law (CECL)<\/strong> is a renowned European research institute. The Foundation aims to promote the development of democratic institutions, fundamental rights and the welfare state; to deepen European integration; and to strengthen international cooperation under the principle of respect to the cultural identity of each state. The specific objectives of the Foundation are to provide institutional know-how and capacity-building to public bodies in Greece, developing countries and member-states of the European Union, to undertake theoretical and applied research in the fields of Greek, European and comparative public law and public policies; and to promote public awareness on developments in the European area. To this date, the Foundation participating in numerous European and National Projects has undertaken research, consulting and institution-building projects in more than 20 countries worldwide, and maintains an active network of collaborating institutions and highly qualified experts.<\/p><p>The Foundation hosts the National Contact Point of the Fundamental Rights Network (FRANET) coordinated by the European Union Agency on Fundamental Rights (FRA) (since 2007) and conducts extensive research and data collection on fundamental rights. It is also accredited to participate in European Commission Twinning projects. Among the Foundation\u2019s international activities special focus is put on the UN Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities and the UN Convention Against Corruption. The Foundation coordinates the Research Group \u201cConstitution-Making and Constitutional Change\u201d of the International Association of Constitutional Law and organizes high level conferences, workshops and publications in Europe and North America. The Foundation is a member of the Greek Section of the European Network on the European Social Charter and Social Rights (ANESC) that promotes the implementation of European Social Charter and the protection of social rights in Europe.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/etmerimna.gr\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/svinoumetostigma.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/\u03bb\u03bf\u03b3\u03cc\u03c4\u03c5\u03c0\u03bf-\u03bc\u03ad\u03c1\u03b9\u03bc\u03bd\u03b1\u03c2-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"381\" height=\"91\" \/><\/a><\/p><h5>The Society for the Care and Rehabilitation of People with Psychosocial Problems (Merimna)<\/h5><p><strong>The Society for the Care and Rehabilitation of People with Psychosocial Problems<\/strong> (<strong>Merimna<\/strong>) was founded in 1997 as a civil non-profit organization.<\/p><p>The Society has public benefit, non-profit aims. It provides services relating to the quality of life and rehabilitation of Persons with Psychosocial Problems, with priority given to the participants at psychosocial rehabilitation programs, or people with disability who live in the community, in conditions of poverty or socio-economic squalor.<\/p><p>Aims and Objectives<\/p><ul><li>The care for the quality of life of Persons with Psychosocial Problems;<\/li><li>The rehabilitation in every way possible;<\/li><li>The provision of housing, living and employment care for people with disabilities;<\/li><li>The promotion of educational programs;<\/li><li>The meaningful social inclusion and the equal treatment, as well as the community sensitization regarding people with disabilities, in order to achieve a harmonious coexistence;<\/li><li>The mutual aid among the members and the general contribution to the resolution of problems of the members of the Fokida Prefecture Psychosocial Rehabilitation Units of the Society of Social Psychiatry P. Sakellaropoulos;<\/li><li>The scientific study, research and scientific update around issues of psychosocial rehabilitation;<\/li><li>The exchange of visits, views, information and experience with other national or international organizations \u2013 both public and private \u2013 which deal with psychosocial rehabilitation issues.<\/li><\/ul><p>The Society for the Care &amp; Rehabilitation of People with Psychosocial Problems is based in Amfissa. It has currently established three [3] branches. These are located in the Prefecture of Evros, in the Prefecture of Fthiotida and in the Prefecture of Attica.
